- Extreme cold weather (-20°C to -40°C) significantly reducing battery performance.
- Weak Wi-Fi signal (RSSI below -75dBm) or Zigbee mesh instability forcing the lock to work harder to maintain connectivity.
- Mechanical binding in the lock mechanism or door frame requiring more force (and battery power) to operate the deadbolt.
- Corroded battery terminals increasing resistance.
- Incompatible or low-quality batteries.
