Step-by-Step Fix:
-
1Power cycle the Lutron Smart Bridge (unplug, wait 30 seconds, plug back in).
-
2Access the Bell Home Hub/Rogers Ignite gateway administration panel (usually 192.168.1.1) via a web browser.
-
3Identify the IP address currently assigned to the Lutron Smart Bridge in the connected devices list.
-
4Check the DHCP server settings on the Bell/Rogers gateway. Ensure the IP address assigned to the Smart Bridge is outside the DHCP range or has a static DHCP reservation for the Smart Bridge’s MAC address.
-
5If a static IP is required for the Smart Bridge, manually configure it on the Smart Bridge through the Lutron app, ensuring it is outside the DHCP range and does not conflict with other devices. Double-check the subnet mask and gateway address.
-
6Reset the Lutron Smart Bridge to factory defaults by pressing and holding the button on the back for 10 seconds (LED will flash rapidly). Reconfigure it through the Lutron app, allowing it to obtain an IP address automatically from the DHCP server.
-
7Update the Lutron Smart Bridge firmware via the Lutron app. Ensure the app is up to date as well.
