Troubleshoot a disabled SmartThings Hub on your Samsung Neo QLED TV. Diagnostic steps for common Canadian network and smart home issues. Rogers/Bell compatibility.
Navigate to Settings > General > Network > Network Status. The IP Address will be listed there.
Check the sticker on the modem itself. The default username is usually 'cusadmin', but the password is unique to each device.

Try accessing the SmartThings hub through the SmartThings app on your phone. Even if disabled on the TV, the app might offer more detailed diagnostic information or remote control options to re-enable the hub. Check if the hub is accidentally assigned to a different “location” in the app than the TV.
Ensure that all power cords are in good condition and properly plugged into surge protectors. Do not attempt to disassemble the TV or any networking equipment. Protect login credentials to avoid unauthorized access to your SmartThings account and connected devices. Secure your Wi-Fi network with a strong password (WPA3 if supported).
The Samsung Neo QLED TV integrates a SmartThings Hub, which relies on network connectivity (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) and cloud services. Issues can arise from DHCP lease expiration, 2.4GHz/5GHz band steering incompatibility on the Bell Home Hub or Rogers Ignite gateways, or latency problems communicating with the Samsung cloud API. Zigbee/Z-Wave device management is also affected.
