The default IP address is usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1, but check the sticker on your router.

IP address conflicts occur when two devices on the same network are assigned the same IP address. This typically happens when a device is assigned an IP address outside the DHCP range or when the DHCP server (usually the router) assigns an address already in use. Videotron routers utilize DHCP to automatically assign IP addresses. Conflicts disrupt network communication.
Ensure the SmartThings Hub power adapter is connected to a properly grounded outlet. Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the hub. Protect your Wi-Fi network with a strong password (WPA3 preferred) to prevent unauthorized access and maintain data privacy. Secure your SmartThings account with a unique, complex password and enable two-factor authentication.
If the SmartThings Hub continues to experience IP address conflicts, try performing a factory reset of the hub (refer to the Samsung SmartThings documentation). After the reset, ensure the hub is automatically assigned an IP address by the Videotron router before reconfiguring your connected devices.
The SmartThings Hub v3 displays a solid red LED indicator or an error message within the SmartThings app indicating an IP address conflict. The hub may intermittently disconnect from the network. App logs may show repeated DHCP request failures.
