Maintenance Tips:
- Regularly check the SmartThings Station firmware for available updates via the SmartThings app
- Assign a static IP address to the Station within the Bell Home Hub/Giga Hub or Rogers Ignite router settings to prevent DHCP lease issues
- Consider a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) to protect against power outages, especially during severe winter storms
- Periodically power cycle the SmartThings Station (once every 3 months) to clear temporary errors
